Pools and Fountains
Removal of Calcium and Rust from Swimming Pools, Concrete Fountains, and Ceramic Tile
123-OFF can be used for basic maintenance of swimming pools and concrete fountains where calcium and rust deposits build up. (DO NOT use on fountains made of concrete composites). It is recommended that the area be cleaned every 6 months to maintain original shine.
1. Shake before use.
2. Wearing rubber gloves, test product in an inconspicuous place before using.
3. Drain water from pool or fountain to expose the calcified or rusted surface above water.
4. Apply to calcified or rusted areas with a brush or scrub pad.
5. Allow product to sit for 3 to 5 minutes.
6. Use a nylon bristle brush to scrub off tough deposits or stains and rinse with water.
7. If calcium or rust is not fully removed repeat the application process a second time.
8. Thoroughly rinse entire area following final application to remove all residue from the surface. 123-OFF will not harm or change the pH of the pool water in any way.
*If calcium has built up over a long period of time, 123-OFF will remove it but the surface may be scored by the calcium and not return to its original look.
Store product in a cool location.
